Learning Concepts of the Contract Academy

In Contract Management, “knowledge” is the decisive variable. Success requires employees to take the right action at the right time. Our training therefore focuses on different levels of Contract Management and provides targeted knowledge tailored to the desired function.

Online Seminars

Contract and Claims Management works when employees from different disciplines collaborate. Not every employee will prepare a claim and negotiate with the customer. Employees in planning, for example, should know how contracts can be used to protect the company’s own interests when customers request changes.

Our training concept therefore focuses on three qualification levels:

Online training in a dialog

We offer different models for online training. The standard is independent learning. The lessons are worked through completely on one's own without time constraints. This concept is suitable for all individual participants. Participants can discuss topics with the Contract Academy via the integrated chat function. This is the usual procedure available to members.

Blended learning: regular dialog

Blended learning is a form of training that combines traditional teaching methods with digital learning. There is a time limit for working through individual lessons, e.g. 3 lessons within 14 days. Afterwards, a joure-fixe is arranged to recap and deepen topics of the lessons worked on.

Coaching: A Permanent Point of Contact

The coaching concept also requires participants to complete the lessons independently. However, it includes “stand-by” support, allowing participants to discuss content with experts from the Contract Academy at any time.

This is particularly suitable for the targeted training of individual employees in order to prepare them within a short period of time to take on responsibilities in Contract and Claims Management.

Additional costs apply for this intensive support and depend on the individual case. Please contact us — we will be pleased to provide you with an attractive offer.

Do you have questions about the concepts? We will be happy to explain the advantages of each model.

This joure-fixe is then done via an online communication tool. Experience shows that such a method is very suitable for companies and leads to a much better consolidation of know-how than is the case with traditional methods.

We charge a flat fee for joure-fixe appointments. Contact us, we will be happy to submit you an attractive offer.

Coaching: Permanent contact person

The coaching concept also requires you to work through the lessons on your own. However, "stand-by" support is provided, allowing participants to discuss content with Contract Academy experts at any time. This is particularly suitable for the targeted training of individual employees in order to prepare them for taking on tasks in contract and claims management within a short period of time.

Additional costs are incurred for this intensive support, depending on the individual case. Contact us and we will be happy to make you an attractive offer.

Coaching

Coaching is a form of consulting specifically aimed at executives with management responsibilities. The coach is a neutral advisor who does not take over the client’s work, but primarily supports the client in developing suitable measures.

Especially in projects where employees are expected to apply a new methodology alongside their normal duties, project coaching is particularly effective.

At the beginning, many questions often arise due to difficulties in implementing new processes. The coach acts as a start-up supporter who helps overcome the first hurdles.

Projects in areas that break new ground offer the opportunity, through training on the job, to achieve more than simply entering a new field or implementing a new solution.

Classroom Seminars

The Contract Academy passes on its knowledge to participants. The focus is on introducing employees with project responsibility to the methods, practices and theories of Contract and Claims Management.

Over the years, we have continuously developed the content of our competence seminars based on experience and feedback from seminar participants. The result is a seminar concept that presents topics which can sometimes be dry and initially unclear in a vivid and understandable way, enabling the knowledge to be applied in daily work.

We do not only teach the fundamental theory, but also provide instruments, tools and strategies. This enables participants to develop their own solutions in order to respond appropriately from a Contract Management perspective in different situations and cases in their daily work.

Workshops

In competence seminars, knowledge is conveyed in the form of a lecture. In a workshop, however, selected topics are taught through practical exercises.

To convey the same knowledge, a workshop requires significantly more time than a seminar designed as a lecture. The advantage, however, is that the knowledge acquired is more sustainable, retained for longer and therefore more likely to be applied.

It is advisable to first hold a seminar in which the basic knowledge and interrelationships are conveyed, and then deepen specific topics in a workshop.

Because these workshops are highly practice-oriented, we specifically align them with the requirements of the respective industry and company. Workshops can only be booked as in-house events.
